The Ancient Egyptian Heritage and Archaeology Fund is a private nonprofit organization with a mission to support research and conservation on Egyptian history and culture. In particular, it seeks to record and publish sites and monuments at risk from agricultural and urban expansion, looting and vandalism, and climate change. The organization will also work to foster a greater awareness of the risks to Egypt’s archaeological heritage and to promote education and training in site management and protection.
The Fund was formally incorporated under the laws of New York State in 2014. It also seeks to prioritize publication of archaeological excavations both past and current as an essential component to the preservation and heritage management.
